My Boring Life

As you may or may not know, I have a veryyy boring week day life. I go to school, work, come home and then I have nothing to do until I go to bed. I need a hobby! Something to keep me busy. I've thought of working out but I can't get my butt in the right clothes to do it. So, any suggestions?

Marquette Weekend

The weather was beautiful this past weekend in Marquette. Me and Paul spent all day Saturday four wheeling around Marquette Mountain. The picture is at the top, over looking Marquette. It was such a clear day, you could see forever. The Halloween party was pretty funny, our peacock costumes didn't turn out so I'm not even going to show you. Lets just say we looked like fairy's.

I don't get why I don't know how to blog. I keep a journal, I love writing in English but for some reason I can't get my tone right when I am blogging. I feel like everything I say is awkwardly put. And then half the time I have no idea what to write about, I'm not sure what's up. So bear with me and maybe some day it will get interesting.

Fall

The weather has been so beautiful lately!! Me and my friends are planning on visiting the apple orchid this Sunday..seeing that the weather is supposed to continue into the weekend. I'm excited, I haven't been to an orchid since elementary Also they were talking about a new president on the radio today..Didn't realize four years have passed already. It's crazy. Obama was elected the year I started high school and here I am finishing and so is he hopefully.

I still need to make Gretchen's gift for our sisters weekend, I finished the first and easiest part... Now to decide what to do with it.

I skipped Gym today

Softball is just getting too boring.

The neighbors went on a hot air balloon ride yesterday so me and Jean went and watched them take off. We were able to go inside the balloon when it was all blown up, it looked so cool..almost like an illusion. I was so jealous, I want to go on one of those so bad!! Paul promised me we will someday so hopefully we will:) We are also supposed to be going sky diving next summer since I'll be 18, ahhhh.

Senior Year

I am saying hello to my senior year of high school. Hallelujah! I have waited 12 years for this year to come. I will admit, I will probably miss school and having a busy schedule but I am so excited for my future. I am planning on going up to Northern next year and living with some friends and talking about it just makes it seem so exciting!

I am loving the fall weather we have been having, sunny with a breeze! Now just to wait for the trees to change color so I can take long drives down the back roads! I honestly love Fall, so much fun stuff always happens this season. Or so it seems. It's probably just the excitement of Halloween! It is definitely my favorite holiday excluding Christmas. :)

Today the power went out at work so we all hung around for a half hour or so then found out it wasn't going to be on until around 3pm sooo...I was sent home early. Altho I could really use the hours, I cant complain. Its a beatiful outside so I should probably get out there.

I wish I had a picture or two to show but I don't.

I never blog anymore even though i used to want one so bad cause i thought i would be on it everyday telling pointless stories. In reality I always forget i have one and never go on it. But a quick up-date on life...

Last weekend was Detriot weekend which was a lot of fun. I went to the Tigers game with Paul which got rained out so we went back on Sunday only to find out we were too tired to even enjoy it so we headed home early! But i heard it was a good game after we left. Figures. On saturday me and Tina somehow got signed up for Eva's "Super Sweet Contest!" It was fun, my group won the overall prize which was pretty surprising! I wish i had pictures but I am currently without a camera so therefore no photos...

And later I'm heading north with Gretchen to meet up with the family. Cant wait to see everyone! It should be a fun weekend with everyone there. We will be missing Jen and Sara and i think a few stragglers.. not really sure whose all going but i wish everyone could make it! ...next year:)

if i even have visitors anymore but I'll put it out there just in case. I am looking for a nanny job or some sort of job for this summer. I am desperate.

On the other hand, life has been good. Nine miserable days left of school and teachers are still throwing new stuff at us. I just can't wait to get out of that place.

This summer i am determined to:
- Find a new job!
- Run.. like i did a few summers back
- Put all money towards buying a car
- and figure out other things i should add to this list.

- Having family pop up daily on the web cam to say hi
- My wonderful friends who stick with me through everything
- Daily dose of Facebook.. we all have it
- Every ray of sunshine promising the end of winter
- Counting down the days till our trip! -FOUR:)
- Getting as much sleep as possible until the weekend rolls around
- Eating any sorts of sweets i can get my hands on
- Dreaming of working out but never actually getting around to it
- Seeing Lydia learn all her new tricks

Looks like it's about time to post again! I always forget or get too lazy. I promised Brooke and update like two weeks ago and im finally getting on it! I just don't have anything interesting to blog about. Except, i did start learning how to play guitar the other week:) I have been WAITING forever to learn and so I'm really pumped about it. It gets so frustrating but gonna be so worth it! We have a four day weekend coming up and im hoping to get some shopping done. I am in need of jeans! i have three good pairs that i can wear.

Christmas... i mean Thanksgiving

Getting a little ahead of ourselves this year. We already put the Christmas tree up! usually we wait till at least the day after thanksgiving, this year it was two days before:) Me and Gretchen put the lights on last night, and today while mom and the kids ran to the library i finished decorating it. So i would like to take at least 90% of the credit that went into putting up our tree, which is fake. Let me tell you, it takes forever to put up a fake tree. Real ones are definatly better time wise. Took me and Gretchen like a half hour just to pull down the branches, after awhile we just kind of gave up.

Looks like i'm heading up north tomorrow morn:) im super excited. i havn't been up there since summer so it should be fun. I'll finally get to see some of the nieces and nephews again!:) i cant wait! Kristina is coming along with us so thatll make it all the funner. only problem is i missed school yesterday, gonna miss it tomorrow and monday. but owell it will be worth it.

Halloween and the weekend

Once again it's Monday. looks like I'm not going to keep up with this very well.

Halloween was a blast. Probably my favorite holiday cause i love to dress up. The hair was definitely a pain to take out but it was worth it!

Sunday afternoon was a lot like a summer afternoon:] We played volleyball and soccer all day. And finally got around to taking some pictures. It's been forever since all my friends have been together at once so it was a lot of fun.

So this past weekend was almost a waste because i hardly did anything with friends except saturday night. Usually i do something every night. So i rearanged my room and let me tell you that felt great! i guess i got a bit of a workout from it cause im sore from it. i did have to move two beds and bunkbeds.

Larissa, where the heck were you today?! i missed ya! Duey was creepin on me like no other it was so disturbing. we got our pots back, yours looks great! :]

So once you got one Larissa i figured, heck why not? might as well join you! now we can be blog buddies and maybe my sisters will be intersested in looking at it every once in awhile. i've been wanting to get one for a long time anyways. not sure what to put on this thing but whatever, I'll get the hang of it.

these two girls were here this past weekend.. was a lotta fun! always tons of laughs with them around. [its blurry and not sure why.]
